Big improvements to customer service from Hino! We’re abolishing the 5,000km service.

Traditionally a warranty service has been carried out on all Hino trucks at 5,000km of use. This is an important warranty service which has been required as part of the Hino Warranty conditions. To give a much better customer experience, simplify the process and align with industry standards, Hino NZ and Truckstops have worked together to abolish the 5,000km service and blend it with the Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI). So now, service will be carried out at the time of the PDI, before the truck is delivered to the customer.

The resulting changes will see the customer no longer having to pay the cost of the service or return the truck to the dealer so soon after the pre-delivery inspection, meaning less downtime and no cost to the customer. Far better for our customers!
