Heavy-duty trucks that meet high-demand.
The new 700 Series is available with true automatic or automated manual transmissions (AMT).
The outstanding ZF 16 TraXon AMT is recognised for its ease of use, long-term durability and ability to significantly reduce fuel consumption when driven under certain conditions. Featuring 16 forward gears and two reverse ratios, the fully automated manual requires no clutching by the driver. The transmission is fully electronically controlled, with the ability for the driver to select a sequential manual mode for on-demand shifting.
Manual transmissions are available in the Euro 5 models.
Offering additional power ratings all the way up to 480hp and 2,157Nm of torque, the 700 Series has plenty of pulling power and enough grunt for the toughest of jobs.
Hino’s 700 Series heavy-duty trucks have the important safety feature of cabin strength certification to ECE-R29 crash test standards, and Front Underrun Protection (FUPD) as standard equipment.
Introduced into the new FS models: An enhanced Hino SmartSafe package with lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, collision avoidance, and alert systems. Complete with driver monitor, these features combine to make the new 700 Series the safest Hino ever made. Backed by an advanced Electronic Braking System and Vehicle Stability Control, your new truck is built to support the safety of every road user.
Environment and Economy
The Hino 700 Series meets the high demands of heavy-duty trucking while considering our environment.
Our new 700 Series meets the most stringent Euro 6 / VI emission standards for heavy-duty vehicles across our entire new range. Offering improved fuel economy with up to 99% reduction in the emission of pollutants, the new 700 Series is cleaner for the environment and more sustainable for your business.
The Hino 700 Series meets the internationally recognised European Structural Standards Regulation No. 20 (ECE-R29) for cabin strength, offering you peace of mind.
Engineered with a lighter 6-rod suspension and reduced axle weight, the new Hino 700 extends payload capacity. The 6-rod bogie provides an outstanding double-drive suspension system with cross locks on both front and rear axles for improved off-road performance — strength where it counts.
FS and FY 480hp models include a transmission intarder which offers greater driveability and wear-free braking without fade, relieving pressure and reducing maintenance on service brakes. Combined with the FY’s load share on the front suspension, the Hino 700 Series delivers a better overall ride.
With a number of ergonomic features to enhance driver comfort and reduce fatigue, the Hino 700 Series cabin is one of the most inviting workplaces in the heavy-duty class.
Increased comfort and practicality have been built into the all-new Hino cab with every detail designed to improve your overall driving experience.
The new Hino 700 Series puts the driver first. Improved cab suspension delivers a comfortable ride no matter what the terrain. A cleverly-styled, ergonomically-designed interior wraps around the operator, equipped with easy-to-read displays, the latest NTSC 2 Isringhausen seat, and increased leg room — keeping the driver comfortable from first load to last.
