Hino 500 Series Carries Biggest Payloads In Its Class
Punching above its weight, the Hino 500 Series Wide Cab tipper is packing the features of a heavier truck into a compact build.
New Hino General Manager Darren Salt, who took up the position in May, was pleased to see the focus on the Hino 500 Series’ powerful offering. “We brought out the Hino 500 Series Wide Cab tippers last and knew that they had the perfect specs for construction work. Our heavy-weight front axle means that customers can take bigger payloads and get more of their work trips, and it’s a more comfortable ride with the full cab suspension. It’s great to see that getting recognised by the industry, and by our customers.”
“Our 300, 500 and 700 Series tippers are found at sites all over the country, and are used for everything. Great features and our Quality, Durability and Reliability promise means that people know Hino’s are a great business decision.”
Ram, Managing Director of Avo Enterprises Ltd, has become a regular Hino customer over the last three years. Her drivers work as subcontractors for Fulton Hogan, HEB, Downers NZ and a number of local Auckland clients, and she’s very positive about the Hino 500 Series.
“I have four new Hino’s in our fleet – we bought a FM 2628 in 2015, another truck in 2016 and two of the new Wide Cab models last year. When I started the business in 2014 we had a 1994 Hino, but after we got our first brand new truck we really noticed the difference.”
“It’s a 24/7 business for us – we’re always busy! So reliability is important. We’re signing on our seventh driver this month, and I’m looking at getting another Hino in September – it’s our lucky month.”
“The purchasing process is really easy – the team are really helpful and finance is never an issue. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.”
